Year 7 Curriculum

General Information
Students are grouped into teaching classes according to individual student needs.

Assessment & Reporting
All subjects completed by the end of Stage 4 contribute to the mandatory hours of study set by the New South Wales Education Standards Authority (NESA). Regular homework is issued for students in Year 7 with up to three subjects per evening issuing tasks or asking students to work on assessments/assignments that total approximately one hour per weeknight.

An assessment booklet is also distributed to students at the beginning of the year indicating the due dates for all assessments. This may include an assignment or project, topic tests, usually during the lesson following revision time and preparation; and examinations, usually 1-11/2 hours at the end of semester two. An Effort & Behaviour report is emailed home each school term and semester reports are produced at the completion of each semester.
