College assemblies are a highlight and an opportunity to recognise student achievement, celebrate creativity and performance, acknowledge good works, and strengthen House competition and spirit. Led by the Assistant Principals and College Captains, they are also an opportunity to join together in prayer.
College assemblies occasionally have a particular focus throughout the year. We begin the new year with our High Achievers Assembly where we celebrate the academic success of students from the previous Year 12 cohort. In August each year, the College acknowledges the excellent achievement of students whose hard work and motivation have rewarded them with achieving first place in their subjects during Semester One. It also acknowledges outstanding application in courses studied. Other assemblies may celebrate HSC projects or performances, sporting success or have a particular liturgical focus.
