Enrolments

Planning Year 7

At Mater Maria Catholic College, enrolment applications and enquiries are welcome once your child reaches Year 4 in primary school for entry into Year 7. Enrolment applications for Year 7 close two years prior to the students’ commencement date (i.e. when students are in their Year 5, Term 1 school year). All applications are held on file until the enrolment process has commenced.

  • Currently accepting applications for 2027
  • Applications for Year 7, 2026 close on Friday 12 April, 2024
  • Waiting list for Year 7, 2025
  • Waiting list for all Year Groups, 2024

Current Years 7 to 11 Enrolments

Vacancies may occur from time to time for current Years 7 to 11. When such vacancies occur all applications held on current waiting lists are reviewed. Subject to an interview with the Principal offers may be extended.

Mater Maria Catholic College is the only co-educational Catholic secondary school In Sydney’s northern beaches and welcomes all families who are seeking a faith-based, co-educational, quality education for their sons and daughters. As a school we strive for excellence in education and is a way for the Catholic community to provide for its young people.

The Enrolment Committee welcomes all applications and follows the Catholic Diocese of Broken Bay Enrolment Policy.

Enrolment Documentation Required

An Application for Enrolment must be accompanied by:

  1. Enrolment Application Form with both parents (or all guardians’) signatures 
  2. Passport photograph
  3. A copy of your child’s Birth Certificate
  4. A copy of your child’s Baptismal Certificate and other Sacramental Certificates (Confirmation, Reconciliation and First Eucharist Certificates)
  5. A copy of your child’s Immunisation Certificate
  6. A copy of your child’s NAPLAN results
  7. Passport, Visa, Citizenship Documents (if applicable)
  8. Current Legal documentation or Family Court Orders (if applicable)
  9. Reports regarding learning support needs (if applicable)
  10. A copy of your child’s most recent Student Report (Years 8-12 Applicants only)
