Representative pathways in school sports at Broken Bay vary significantly between sports. In sports like soccer and touch football, selection for the Broken Bay team is determined through gala days specific to each sport. Meanwhile, sports such as netball and rugby league conduct their own trials for students who wish to compete for the Broken Bay team.
For cross country, athletics, and swimming, progression begins at the Mater Maria carnival, leading to the Broken Bay carnival. Exceptional performers there have the opportunity to qualify for the Broken Bay team to compete at the CCC championships, and potentially advance to NSW and School Sports Australia levels.
Students participating in all other sports have the option to attend NSWCCC trials to compete at the NSW All Schools championships. These diverse pathways ensure that talented athletes across all disciplines have opportunities to showcase their skills and progress to higher levels of competition.
