Mater Maria basketball teams are formed to compete in the BBSSSA Basketball Gala Day competitions in Term 1. Individual players may further represent the College at the NSW Combined Catholic Colleges trials and competitions. These teams may then progress to NSW CCC and All School representative teams.

Mater Maria basketball teams are also entered, where possible, through our Parents & Friends Association in the Manly Warringah Basketball Association competition played at the Northern Beaches Indoor Sports Centre. Year 7 teams will only be entered in Semester two. We appreciate the assistance of parents in the management and/or coaching of teams to ensure that as many teams as possible can be supported across the College’s sport program.
