Rugby union is a popular sport at the College. Our boys have a number of opportunities to represent the College. Trials are held in the pre-season and squads are selected from these trials. The standard of junior rugby continues to develop at the College. All teams at the College enter the Peninsula Cup competition (First XV, Under 16, Under 14 and Year 7 teams) where boys play after-school games for a six to eight week period against other schools in the local area.
Boys may also represent the College at the Catholic Diocese of Broken Bay selection trials, where talented players can further represent our Diocese at Combined Catholic Colleges and finally Australian schoolboys.
Years 10 and 11 boys also have the opportunity to represent the College in touring teams. The European Cultural and Sporting tour is a biennale event where our boys can play rugby whilst enjoying the historical sites of the United Kingdom and Italy.
