Passionate about offering a faith-centred Catholic co-education for boys and girls, our Principal Marc Reicher is an accomplished educator and leader whose career has spanned over 27 years.

Mr Reicher was appointed our Principal at the College in 2013 after serving as Acting Principal at St Leo’s Catholic College in Wahroonga. Prior to this, Mr Reicher was an Assistant Principal at St Leo’s.

Along with a Bachelor of Science Degree and Diploma in Education, Mr Reicher also has a Masters in Educational Leadership.

Since becoming our College Principal at Mater Maria nine years ago, Mr Reicher has developed an exceptional educational experience with a focus on continual improvement and developing positive learning networks. He has introduced the expectation that all students are EPIC learners, which are those that are engaged in their learning, positive in their attitude, independent and connected to their community. This model of learning is supported and taught by all teachers at our College and follows the good work of his predecessors in growing Mater Maria into the wonderful College that it is today. Mater Maria Catholic College is the largest high school in Broken Bay and the only co-educational Catholic secondary school on the Northern Beaches.

He is a strong and committed Catholic. Married for 23 years, he has two children. One recently completed HSC and the other is in Year 11. Mr Reicher is an active member of his local parish, the Holy Name of Mary in Rydalmere and enjoys all sports, particularly golf and cricket.

Our Principal welcomes all families that are seeking a faith-centred education for children in Years 7 to 12 on the Northern Beaches.
