Each year in May, the Mater Maria community is drawn together to celebrate its rich beginnings, history and purpose. The month of May in the Catholic calendar is the month of Mary, Jesus’ mother, after whom the College is named.

Affectionately named by us as Mater Day, it is an opportunity to rejoice and give thanks for the gift that is the Sisters of the Good Samaritan and their foundation of our College as we promote the life and mission of our precious community.
